The Breakers' story starts thousands of miles away at the edge of our continent on a pier
in the Santa Monica bay. In fact, you can catch a glimpse of this very pier when you
come to visit us. It is here, listening to the melodious sound of the ocean waves and
digging into the fresh catch offered by local eateries that the concept was born.

To bring this hip, California Atmosphere back to Tyler, Texas was the next step.
Everything from the surfboards on the wall to the fish on the plate was going to have
to be imported. As the theme came together it became obvious that it was going to be
special.
